God blessed a young man with a good job making $1100 per week, and a good wife also making $1100 per week. So God blessed them with a lovely home with a monthly payment of $2200. That's a small portion of their combined monthly income. The young man became so thankful, he vowed to beat god giving.
Week 1, a check came in the mail of $1,000,000. The young man said, I'll give God the $1,000,000 plus my check of $1100. The Lord spoke and said, you didn't beat me, the man said, why not? God said, I gave you the job. Then the young man told his wife; Honey, I'm the boss, I'll just fire someone an double up and pay myself double. So the young man worked double time and payed himself $2200. Meanwhile a check came in the mail for $2,000,000. The young man said, I got ya this time, I'm gonna give you back your $2,000,000 plus my $2200.
Now the young man's wife is frustrated, we just had $3,000,000. We could have paid tithes, offerings, and paid off our mortgage. What's wrong with you, she asked. You don't spend time with me anymore. But honey, he said, God has been so good to us I just want to show my appreciation. Each week I give him more than he gives me. What I'll do this week is fire someone else and work straight through. When he sends the check of $3,000,000, I'll have that plus my $3300 to give back, and that's all my time, so surely we'll win.
Too much work; the wife left. Now the young man waits on the mail. Nothing he was expecting.
The young man prayed, Lord did you give up? The Lord answered and said; Didn't you figure it out yet? I gave you that company, you fired 2 of my servants depriving me of their tithes and offerings.
I gave you that wife, you let her go. I gave you a home, $3,000,000 and all you had. I sent the mail,
your mortgage which should have been paid off is in foreclosure. Your PG&E is overdue, your water
is overdue. The $3,000,000 I gave you gave back, I gave to my servants you fired, they now own your business. YOU'RE FIRED. Oh buy he way you owe me for the breath I gave you, pay up.
YOU LOOSE.
