God blessed a young man with a good job earning $1100 per week. Then gave him a beautiful wife making $1100 per week. So God then blessed them with a lovely home paying $2200 per month, 1/4 their monthly income,so the young man became so thankful he vowed to beat God giving.
Week 1,the young man received a check in the mail for $1,000,000. Here's what I'll do, he said. I'll give the Lord the $1,000,000 back plus my whole weekly check. The Lord spoke, you didn't beat me giving. The man said, why not? The Lord spoke, I gave you that 9-5 making $1100 per week.
The young man said, I'm the boss, I'll just fire some and work 2 shift's. So the young man worked double time and made $2200.
Week 2, the man received a check in the mail for $2,000,000. The young man said, I got ya this time, I'll give you the $2,000,000 plus the $2200 I made this week. Now the young man's wife began to get frustrated, honey, she said, we just had $3,000,000, could have paid our tithes as well as a nice offering, all our bills and mortgage. What's wrong with you? You don't even spend time with me anymore. But honey, he replied, God has been so good to us I'm showing my appreciation, each week I beat him giving. What I'll do this week is fire someone else and work straight through, when he gives us $3,000,000, I'll have that plus $3300 to give back, that's basically all I have to give so surely we'll win.
Too much work, no time for the wife, she leaves. Now the young man waits for the mail. Nothing he was looking for. So the young man prayed, Lord did you give up? The Lord answered and said, haven't you figured it out yet? I gave you that job, you fired 2 of my servants depriving me of their tithes and offering. I gave you a wife, you let her leave. I gave you a home, I gave you $3,000,000.
I sent your mail, your PG&E is over due, your water is off, your foreclosure was also included for the mortgage that should have been paid in full. The $3,000,000 you gave back, I gave to my servants you fired, they now own your business, so you're fired. Oh, by the way, you owe me for the breath I gave you. Pay up now. YOU LOOSE.
